Streptococci Bacterium

Recently we lost one of our rescue dogs to this horrible bacterium. It is the equivalent of the disease MIRS which is plaguing our Hospitals at the present time.

Though we can not be 100% sure, we think she caught this devastating illness from a cat scratch, so PLEASE be warned and clean any open wounds.

The symptoms are: High temperature, discharge from the nose, ulcerated mouth, lack of appetite, weight loss and extreme lethargy. If this is picked up quickly by a vet and antibiotics are administered immediately there is some hope, if not..
